Snowy Arjeplog, 60 kilometres south of the Arctic Circle is where our BMW test engineers find excellent conditions for winter driving tests.

Here you can attend the 4-day BMW Ice Perfection Training, improving your own personal basis for dealing with extreme winter conditions with control and confidence. At the wheel of a BMW M3 fitted with spikes you will learn how to handle the challenges on specially prepared, generously proportioned stretches of ice.

Spend a long weekend of driving pleasure in a magical landscape with a social program that includes sauna, hot tub and other typical regional specialities.

The training course at a glance:
Day 1
• Arrival in Sweden, Arvidsjaur Airport
• Bus transfer to the BMW Test Centre in Arjeplog
• Instruction in emergency/controlled braking with/without regulating systems
• Welcome drink at the hotel
• Dinner
• Overnight accommodation in the 4* Hotel Kraja

Day 2
• Theory of dynamic driving
• Traction exercises
• Braking/avoidance manoeuvres
• Oversteering in a circle
• Drifting in circles
• And lots more
• Dinner

Day 3
• Forward/reverse turning
• Slalom against the clock/Drift slalom
• Drifting in large radiuses
• And lots more
• Evening in a hunting lodge
• Overnight accommodation in the 4* Hotel Kraja

Day 4
• Bus transfer to Arvidsajaur Airport
• Return flight

4 days (including arrival and departure days) / max. 20 participants

Vehicles:
You will use current BMW models to complete the course (depending on availability)

Theory of dynamic winter driving, local airport transfer, practical driving exercises, typical regional cuisine and 3 nights accommodation in single rooms, including full board at the hotel, team support, social program and insurance.
