BMW Concept X2. A new facet of driving pleasure.

BMW is providing an initial foretaste of the new BMW X2, the world premiere of which has been announced for 2017.

The BMW Concept X2 shows a new exciting facet of the BMW brand. It combines the elegant dynamics of a BMW Coupé with the powerful sturdiness of a BMW X vehicle, thus redefining the term Sports Activity Coupé for the compact segment.

The independent design causes apparent contradictions to merge into a statement that is both distinctive and emotional. While the large wheels and the typical two-box design underline the functional and robust X character, a long wheelbase and the extended roof line, short overhangs and the C pillar strongly inclined in the direction of travel give the vehicle body an athletically flat appearance.

Here pleasure is just as important as function. Accordingly, the BMW Concept X2 is a highly emotional vehicle that supports an active lifestyle – in the city as well as far beyond its boundaries.

The new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo. Pure inspiration.

An expert in comfort is celebrating its world premiere – in the new BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, a distinctive character is enriching the BMW 3 Series family. In self-confident style it combines powerful sporting character with inspiring size. The new LED headlights as a standard feature display a modern interpretation of the classic BMW double-round headlights. The user interface of the BMW Navigation system Professional comes from the luxury class and together with the iDriveTouch Controller presents a new feeling of interactive operation. The extended engine range now consisting of three petrol and five diesel engines inspires through dynamic power build-up combined with high efficiency.

BMW i3 & BMW i8 Garage Italia CrossFade.

BMW i is presenting the BMW i3 and BMW i8 in an exclusive colour scheme inspired by the painting technique of pointillism.

The ‘Garage Italia CrossFade‘ project embodies the ground-breaking design and the innovative character of the BMW i3 and BMW i8 models in a fascinating way. A common attribute of the two concept cars is a special colour scheme based on the style of painting known as pointillism that evolved during the late 19th and early 20th centuries and which creates an especially expressive appearance in the two cars.

The premiere in the French capital also serves as a preview of special edition models of the BMW i3 and BMW i8, which will be available at the beginning of 2017.

In addition, the BMW i3 is presented with the new even more powerful 94 Ah high-voltage battery, which extends the range to as much as 300 km.

BMW M2 MotoGP Safety Car.

Holiday from the race track: after a fast-paced season, BMW M is presenting the new BMW M2 MotoGP Safety Car. It has been designed on the basis of the BMW M2 Coupé and is the new highlight of the official MotoGP fleet.

Guaranteeing the exceptionally sporty driving performances of the BMW M2 Coupé is the new inline six-cylinder engine with innovative M TwinPower Turbo technology and three-litre displacement. With its maximum output of 272 kW/370 hp and a top engine speed of 7,000 rpm, the extremely high-revving power unit also sends out a clear message on the race track. The intelligent lightweight concept, the low centre of gravity and the low unsprung masses are further assets that help the agility and dynamics of this high-performance coupé to reach new peaks.

The production vehicle has been meticulously handcrafted and further optimised in the BMW M workshop. Extensive BMW M Performance accessories not only set optical accents but also fulfil functional requirements in terms of aerodynamics, cooling and lightweight construction.
