A restructured service range is now available in addition to BMW Assist/BMW Online. It contains the special equipment options ConnectedDrive Services with BMW Online and Apps, Intelligent Emergency Calling, Concierge Services, Internet, and Real Time Traffic Information.
The new service structure applies as from March 2013 to the following vehicles: BMW 3 Series Sedan, BMW 3 Series Touring, BMW 3 Series Gran Turismo, BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé, BMW 6 Series Convertible, BMW 6 Series Coupé, BMW Z4, BMW X1 and the BMW X3.
Requirements and conditions for BMW Assist and BMW Online.
The innovative BMW Assist and BMW Online services are available for all BMW models. Driver assistance systems are generally available as equipment options. A prerequisite for the use of BMW Assist and BMW Online is the special equipment option “mobile phone preparation Business with Bluetooth interface”, which is available for all current BMW models.
In order to use the features of BMW Assist and BMW Online, for data protection reasons you must arrange for them to be enabled free of charge in the online portal for BMW ConnectedDrive services.
Use is free of charge for the first three years with the Navigation system Professional, and for the first six months with the Navigation system Business. Thereafter, the annual fee in all countries is a flat rate of EUR 250. Independently of this, there is an annual flat-rate fee of EUR 150 for unlimited Internet use in your BMW from the date of initial registration. There are no roaming charges.
