It’s curtains up for more entertainment. Video Playback from BMW ConnectedDrive and your iPhone work together perfectly when it comes to films and podcasts. When connected to your vehicle via the snap-in adapter, the iPhone shows your saved videos on the main display.

The main role is played by the iDrive system in your BMW, which you can use to control iPhone functions intuitively and conveniently. At speeds of up to 3 km/h, the sights and sounds of entertainment are front and centre in your cockpit. During the drive – when your eyes will be needed for the road – the audio function remains available for you to use and you can select between the individual video titles. The iPhone and BMW ConnectedDrive: welcome to the front row.

Video Playback requires the optional equipment “Apps” in your BMW in addition to the video function compatibility in the iPhone 3G/3GS/4. Software versions 4.2.1. and higher are recommended. Video Playback is not available for the option RSE (Rear Seat Entertainment).
