The same connection simultaneously communicates precise positioning data for your vehicle’s location and other relevant information for planning the deployment of emergency services – for instance, risk of injury, number of passengers and where they are seated, as well as the vehicle model and its colour. This information can be decisive when alarming the closest emergency services unit – and can also save valuable seconds. It also ensures that the emergency services are informed in advance and can prepare the appropriate medical aid required for accident victims. Immediate aid is also guaranteed if you have an accident in another country: if you have an accident while travelling abroad, you are connected to the BMW Call Centre of your home country. They offer immediate help in both your own language and the language of the country you are currently in.
