No-overtaking indicator detects routes on which overtaking restrictions are in force and also tells the driver when the restriction has been lifted. This helps drivers to detect risky situations in good time and thus avoid any dangerous overtaking manoeuvres.

The system supplements the Speed Limit Info function to include additional common road signs such as no-overtaking zones. The built-in camera automatically detects the various signs and can also recognize country-specific variations in symbols. This guarantees a high level of safety even when you are driving abroad. The information captured is combined with the data from the navigation system
before the actual restriction is displayed in the cockpit.
The signs indicating when the restriction is in force and when it has been lifted are displayed temporarily in the instrument cluster. A camera mounted in the rear-view mirror correctly identifies additional pictographic details (lorries, trailers,...), allowing drivers to concentrate fully on the road and other road users.
