BMW ConnectedDrive - Networking all areas of life in the Haus der Gegenwart.

"How do we wish to live?" This question was the starting point for the creation of the Haus der Gegenwart ("House of the Present") in Munich, a 200 square-metre testing ground for new forms of design for living and life, where contemporary living culture is showcased in interaction with technology and environmental protection. Just as impressive as the architecture is the networking of the house and the vehicle, which BMW, as a project partner, made possible: drivers can operate the blinds and lighting from the cockpit of their BMW or at the main computer in the house. The result is an intelligent synthesis of driving and living.
