THE MEGACITY VEHICLE.
Under the umbrella of BMW EfficientDynamics, BMW is constantly researching and developing innovations so it can offer emission-free mobility in the long term.
With this in mind, a completely new car is being created for sustainable mobility in the urban environment – the Megacity Vehicle (MCV). BMW i is relying on lightweight materials such as CFRP, electric drive systems, efficient battery technology and environmentally sound production. The vehicle is to be built in the BMW plant in Leipzig at the end of 2013.
EfficientDynamics demonstrates the future viability of BMW. It shows that emission-free mobility simply does not mean sacrificing driving pleasure – and this applies to BMW i as well.
