BMW HiFi systems.

The BMW 1 Series turns open roads into exciting concert venues. Subwoofers beneath the front seats form the basis of the exceptional sound. The HiFi loudspeaker system enhances this sound with ten speakers, the HiFi System Professional adds an additional high-end speaker system and surround function. Using the AUX port you can connect external devices such as MP3 players to all HiFi systems. Three BMW radios, a CD changer and a MD player complete the entertainment options.

Climate comfort.

The air conditioning option with a microfilter allows you to maintain pleasant cabin temperatures at all times regardless of the temperature outside. The automatic air conditioning with additional air recirculation, residual heat function und fogging and solar sensors help maintain optimum cabin climate, allowing you to relax and enjoy your journey. For true personal comfort, the driver and front passenger can adjust the temperature individually.

Seats and seat comfort.

Take your place, sit back and enjoy the journey: choose either the impressive standard seats with optional seat memory function (for individual seat settings), or the optional Sport seats with electric width adjustment for firm, comfortable support even on the most winding roads. The manually adjustable backrest and seat angle, seat height and thigh support provide optimum comfort for the driver and front passenger at all times.

Steering wheels.

Whether you choose the standard three-spoke or the leather sports option, you know that the BMW 1 Series steering wheel will fit snugly in your hands. The optional Sport steering wheel sheathed in leather has integrated multifunction buttons to give you direct control over the optional audio system and in-car telephone without so much as taking your hands from the wheel. Two other buttons can be programmed as you wish, another detail which enhances your personal choices.

Lights package.

The optional lights package ensures that the front of the cabin is automatically illuminated for 20 seconds once you unlock the doors, giving you the time to take your seat comfortably. As soon as a door is opened, footwell lights are activated to optimally guide passengers to their seats. The lights package also includes reading lights situated in the front and rear of the vehicle and two lit make-up mirrors.

Storage package.

Everything has its place, especially in the BMW 1 Series. The optional storage package comprises nets on the right side of the boot and on the backs of the front seats. The transparent dividing net ensures that objects are stowed safely even when the rear seat is folded down. A 12-volt plug and a roof handle on the driver's side complete the package.
