Passive safety in the BMW 1 Series.

The safety electronics of the BMW 1 Series react to serious situations with amazing speed. Crash sensors react immediately, deploying the correct system at the right time and to exactly the right degree. All 1 Series models come with belt force tensioners and the airbag system comprising six airbags (driver and front passenger airbag, head airbags for front and rear and side airbags integrated in the front seat backrests).
