There are many diesel engines on the roads, but only a few with as much temperament. And even fewer that combine muscular performance with velvety smoothness. Producing up to 520 Nm of torque at 1,750 rpm, the engine of the BMW 330d is incredibly responsive even at low revs and perfectly expresses the dynamic character of the BMW 3 Series Coupé. The peak torque of 400 Nm in the BMW 325d kicks in at only 1,300 rpm. The EU4 emissions standard (330d: EU5) is met effortlessly thanks to maintenance-free particle filter fitted as standard.
