Adaptive Headlights with cornering
lights on the BMW 3 Series Coupé.

The optional Adaptive Headlights with variable light distribution include integrated cornering lights to illuminate bends as soon as the driver steers into them. Sensors monitor the rate of yaw, the steering angle and the vehicle's speed to make sure the beams of the BMW 3 Series Coupé's headlights stay where you need them to be - directly on the road ahead. In tight corners, at speeds up to 65 km/h and when the indicator is switched on, the cornering lights are automatically activated, whenever the automatic headlight activation function is switched on. The result: outstanding illumination and a more relaxed driving experience.
