BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Edition -
only 109 g/km of CO₂.
Efficient potential: the new BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Edition impresses in terms of cost-effectiveness and dynamics with an average fuel consumption of 4.1 litres, with emission figures of only 109 grams of CO₂ per kilometre for automatic and manual transmission.
The 2.0-litre four-cylinder engine with BMW TwinPower Turbo technology originates from the same family as the BMW 320d and has the common features of a fully aluminium crankcase, a turbocharger with variable turbine geometry and the latest generation of common-rail direct injection.
An optimised shift point display helps the driver to travel economically. The higher overall gear ratio enables the new BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Edition to drive with optimum fuel consumption at very low revs. Driving on a country road at 100 km/h in 6th gear, the engine rotates merely 1600 times per minute.
Thanks to additional aerodynamic optimisation measures, such as the 5-spoke rims in Aero wheel design, tyres with reduced rolling resistance and the lowered chassis, the BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Edition shines with an average fuel consumption of 4.1 litres, with emission figures of only 109 grams of CO₂ per kilometre for automatic and manual transmission. It brings its 120 kW (163 hp) onto the road with impressive dynamism. And the optional BMW BluePerformance technology means the BMW 320d EfficientDynamics Edition already fulfils the EU6 emission norm that only comes into effect in 2014.
