The BMW ActiveHybrid 3 is also optionally available with Sport Line, with Luxury Line or with M Sport package.

Inspired by the rich model history of the BMW 3 Series, the BMW ActiveHybrid 3 has a modern and powerful appearance. Combined with the headlights, the striking BMW kidney grille forms one unit and for the first time exploits its full effect from the side. Breadth and sporting character of the vehicle are highlighted. Precisely guided, ascending contours together with the forward-striving front that sweepingly transforms into the bonnet stand for pure dynamics. So too do the three-box design with long bonnet, short front overhangs, rear-set greenhouse and the flowing transition from curved roof line to shallow-sloping rear window. Model logos on the tail, the C-pillars, in the interior and on the engine cover distinguish the vehicle visually from the BMW 3 Series. Optional 18-inch Aero wheel rims and the Liquid Blue paint finish underline the innovative standard. Further accents come from specific design features in the optionally available Modern Line: satin-finish aluminium window surrounds, side panels in high-gloss black, matt chrome exhaust pipe finishers and the BMW kidney grille with eleven slats in satin-finish aluminium all blend perfectly with the design features on the front and rear.
