The interior of the BMW ActiveHybrid 3 with optionally available Modern Line impresses with its high-quality materials. The classical driver orientation creates the feeling of a cockpit. Hybrid-specific gauges on the instrument panel and Control Display together with important operating functions are ideally positioned for access.

The instrument panel opens up to the driver and allows convenient access to the controls. All design lines converge behind the steering wheel, thus guiding the driver’s view onto the road. On one side of the asymmetrical centre console, a change of decorative surfaces and grain highlights the driver’s section. The free-standing iDrive monitor with its slim, high-resolution display is positioned on the instrument panel and is reminiscent of ultra modern flatscreens.

The instrument panel and the light steering wheel in the BMW ActiveHybrid 3 with Modern Line provide optical highlights. When combined with leather covers or fabric/leather combinations in Oyster or Black and, as an option, three decorative surfaces with satin chrome accent trim strips, they create a world of colours to generate a feeling of well-being – and an extraordinary feature for this class of car. In particular, the Fineline Pure genuine wood design – styled in open-pored wood with three-dimensional surface structures – turns each touch into an experience for the senses.

Discreet differences in design draw attention to the innovative drive concept: the model logo “ActiveHybrid 3” appears on the entry sill and the cover of the gear selection lever.
