Well connected with apps and BMW ConnectedDrive: now you no longer have to do without the apps on your iPhone while on the road. Simply connect your iPhone to your BMW using the snap-in adapter or via the original Apple cable and you can conveniently operate individual apps with the iDrive Controller.

The Aupeo! app supplies you with music: the Internet radio draws on a database with 120 genre stations and adapts to your own personal musical taste by using the “Love” and “Ban” buttons.

“BMW Connected” is a free app developed by BMW that not only brings Facebook, Twitter or your diary onto the main vehicle display: with the new News function, you can also find out what’s happening all over the world while on the road – thanks to predefined RSS feeds or your own favourite sources. Wiki Local supplies you with information about where you are staying, your destination or an address of your choice. Output comes from the Control Display or by text-to-speech function.

The Last Mile Navigation and Vehicle Finder functions help you to reach destinations you have set in the navigation system of your BMW, even when not in your car, and then find your way back to the parked vehicle. The functions of the “BMW Connected” app are regularly extended by updates – you can also enjoy additional “BMW Apps ready” applications (such as Aupeo!), which you can then use in your vehicle.

BMW Apps is compatible with iPhone from version 3GS and requires the special equipment BMW ConnectedDrive Services and Navigation system Professional.
