Using internet-based services, BMW Online enhances your mobility by sending you the most up-to-date information while you are at the wheel of your BMW 3 Series Touring. Breaking news, weather forecasts, travel information and e-mail are transmitted directly to your vehicle.

With services such as Google™ Local Search as well as details of pharmacies, ATMs and hotels, you receive exclusive, location-based information on everything you need to know about your route or destination. BMW Online customers can also use the BMW Route Planner to work out their journeys on a computer outside of the vehicle and then retrieve them in the vehicle. Display the latest weather information, locate the nearest filling station or a car park with vacant spaces. If you wish, you can transfer the results found directly to the navigation system at the touch of a button.

The personalisable browser apps in the Applications menu offer even more information: BMW Online users can access the Qype review portal, search for service facilities offered by Deutsche Post or use Wiki Local service. In future even more practical functions will be offered under the Applications menu command. Here you can configure the applications you wish to use for yourself. Text-to-speech allows you to have information – such as the latest news – read out while you still concentrate on the traffic.
