The BMW TwinPower Turbo 4-cylinder diesel engine in the BMW 420d unleashes a powerful 140 kW (190 hp). With up to 400 Nm of torque, the vehicle accelerates to 100 km/h from a standing start in 8.1 seconds (Steptronic transmission: 8.0 s) and reaches a top speed of 235 km/h (Steptronic transmission: 228 km/h). At the same time, the efficient average fuel consumption is only 5.1 to 4.8 l (Steptronic transmission: 4.7 to 4.4 l) over 100 km with CO2 emissions of 134 to 127 g/km (Steptronic transmission: 124 to 116 g/km).
The BMW 425d also offers outstanding dynamics and impressive efficiency. It manages the sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 s (Steptronic transmission: 6.7 s). The BMW TwinPower Turbo powerplant has an average fuel consumption of 5.4 to 5.1 l/100 km (Steptronic transmission: 5.1 to 4.8 l). Average CO2 emissions are a mere 141 to 133 g/km (Steptronic transmission: 135 to 127 g/km).
The BMW 430d guarantees top performance, a rapid power build-up and excellent fuel consumption. Even in the low rev range, a high torque of 560 Nm is available. The powerful 190 kW (258 hp) engine is smooth-running and extremely responsive. It can reach 100 km/h from a standing start in just 5.9 seconds, has a top speed of 250 km/h (limited) und uses on average a mere 5.5 to 5.3 litres of diesel for 100 km, with CO2 emissions of 144 to 139 g/km.
The BMW 435d xDrive offers 230 kW (313 hp) and 630 Nm of torque, coupled with average fuel consumption of 5.9 to 5.7 l/100 km and exemplary CO2 emissions of 155 to 151 g/km. It can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5.2 seconds and has a top speed of 250 km/h (limited).
All engines in the BMW 4 Series Convertible fulfil the EU6 emission norm as standard.
