State of the art diesel engineering: the straight six-cylinder diesel powerplants deliver smooth performance and pure, breathtaking torque - up to 560 Nm in the BMW 535d, 500 Nm in the BMW 530d and 400 Nm in the BMW 525d - exploiting fuel-saving advances in combustion chamber design and BMW's second-generation common rail fuel injection. The BMW 535d offers the additional smooth power of two-stage turbocharging.
