Park Assistant.
Just because you can do something, it doesn't mean you always have to do it yourself. The Park Assistant takes on the search for a parking space as well as the parking; you just give the commands.
Ultrasonic sensors in the side indicators search for parking spaces when travelling at speeds of up to 35 km/h, allowing you to keep concentrating on the traffic. Blue arrows indicate if a parking space is available either on the left or the right side of the road. The assistant takes care of the steering so that all you have to do is select the correct gear and control the accelerator and the brake. Instructions are displayed on the Control Display together with the Park Distance Control and the image from the Rear View camera. BMW ConnectedDrive not only connects the BMW ActiveHybrid 5 with the outside world, it also simplifies daily life.
