Take another quick glance at your Facebook wall while out and about, read the latest tweets, check your diary or listen in to your favourite Web radio station – BMW apps for your BMW combine the flexibility of your iPhone™ with the operating comfort of BMW iDrive. The Last Mile and Vehicle Finder functions help you to reach destinations you have set in the navigation system of your BMW, even when not in your car, and then find your way back to the parked vehicle.
You install a compatible app – “BMW Connected” for example – on your iPhone and then connect it via the USB interface with the iDrive of your BMW. The BMW apps have been specially developed for the BMW iDrive user interface. This allows you to operate all the functions for the selected app safely and conveniently using the iDrive Controller of your BMW.
The range starts with the “BMW Connected” app in the App Store and contains the following functionalities:
