A clear view in unclear situations with innovations from BMW ConnectedDrive: up to five cameras give the BMW 5 Series Touring a clear view of any situation.
The Rear View camera provides welcome support when parking. Interactive lane lines in the image inform the driver whether or not the parking space is large enough. The zoom function allows you to adjust the image so that you can attach a trailer to the tow bar without the need for further assistance.
The Top View cameras in the wing mirrors complete the camera package. Together with the data from the Rear View camera the system generates a bird's eye image of the BMW 5 Series Touring and its current location. Whether you are entering or leaving a parking space, carrying out every manoeuvre is simple and safe.
Two front-end Side View cameras are integrated in the front wheel housings, one on the left and one on the right. Both images are displayed in the Control Display to give you a clear view when carrying out parking manoeuvres.
Top and Side View are constituents of the optional Surround View.
