Driver orientation.
Every switch, every display and every control in the BMW 6 Series Gran Coupé is designed with the driver in mind and positioned exactly where you intuitively expect it to be.
To the left of the steering wheel, the switch for driver assistance systems and the light settings. Directly in front of you, the well-arranged cockpit with all the information relevant to driving and safety, which the full-colour BMW Head-Up Display from BMW ConnectedDrive projects directly into your field of vision if required. And finally, the steering wheel itself, which sits firmly in your hands.
Slightly to the right of the driver, there's space for the optional free-standing
10.2-inch full-colour display. Not far below, your right hand will intuitively find the gear shift lever and the Driving Experience Control on the central console. Next to it, and also within easy reach of the front passenger, is the iDrive Controller which, among other functions, controls the navigation and infotainment systems.
