The luxurious spaciousness of the rear seat of the BMW 7 Series is even more generous in the long-wheelbase models, which have 14 cm greater length. Electrically-adjustable rear seats, for example, offer outstanding comfort. The rear-cabin display screen and Controller gives rear-seat occupants total control over comfort features. Self-levelling suspension is standard for long-wheelbase models and optional for all others. Rear-cabin climate control is an option exclusively for the Li models.

The standard climate control in the BMW 7 Series features Automatic Circulation Control to ensure that the air quality in the cabin is always ideal. Temperature in the cabin is automatically held constant, regardless of the variations of the temperature outside. Automatic air conditioning with extended functions is standard in the BMW 760i and 760Li and an option for all other models. It includes a condensation sensor and enables driver and front passenger to set the temperature to their individual preferences.

The optional Comfort Seats for driver, front passenger and the rear cabin are ergonomically designed and electrically adjustable. Front and rear driving cameras

Keeping everything in perspective: the front camera is positioned in the centre of the front bumper and uses special prism lenses, set at 90 degrees, to provide a clear view of side traffic at intersections. This is displayed on the on-board monitor. The rear camera, set in the boot lid, is activated when the Sedan is put into reverse gear. It displays the area at the rear of the Sedan (up to 131 degrees) and provides a clear overview when reversing.

The child seat specially designed for vehicles with the ISOFIX mounting system consists of a height-adjustable and inclinable seat as well as a seat hook. The seat is suitable for children who weigh 9 to 18 kg (seatbelts are used to secure children weighing 18 to 26 kg) and is available in the following designs: grey/blue and Formula 1.
