The luxurious spaciousness of the rear seat of the BMW 7 Series offers optimum comfort. The four-zone automatic air conditioning allows passengers in the rear to individually control the temperature. The optional contour sliding roof lends the interior an even brighter and generous look while an innovative, multi-purpose wind deflector optimises the acoustic effect of the contour roof.

The optional four-zone automatic air conditioning system allows the driver, front- and rear-seat passengers to set their own individual temperature, air volume and distribution to match their personal wishes and preferences. Rear-seat passengers can also separately control the electrical heater in the rear footwells while the optional, extended rear air conditioning* comprises a dedicated compressor to improve cooling performance.

Supreme comfort on long journeys – or short ones. The optional comfort seats for the driver and front passenger are available with a massage function. Twelve massage bubbles and six rotation bubbles help to relax the occupant's thorax, shoulder and lumbar spine, and on summer days, the climate control* seats are equipped with vents feeding cool air into the seat and backrest surface. Active seats are also available whereby the seat bottom moving up and down intermittently to mobilise the occupant's muscles around the hips and lumbar spine to prevent any feeling of cramp or fatigue.

You can transfer music files to your BMW 7 Series Sedan from CDs, an MP3 player or a USB stick while the integrated hard drive has space for around 100 audio CDs. Track titles and artists can be displayed via BMW ConnectedDrive. The 16 high-performance loudspeakers integrated in the BMW HiFi System Professional guarantee unparalleled quality of sound whether you are listening to the radio or your own music collection. Two DAB tuners further ensure consistent reception wherever you are heading.

Rear-seat entertainment in the BMW 7 Series Sedan.

Two adjustable 8-inch monitors and a DVD player set new standards in entertaining travelling. The monitors can be used to watch TV or listen to the radio, and two DAB tuners and a DVD receiver ensure consistent, high-quality reception. In the Professional version, two 9.2-inch individual monitors are operated via a separated iDrive controller and can be integrated with passenger laptops. Rear-seat occupants are also able to access the navigation system and additional iDrive functions.

Folding tables in the rear of the BMW 7 Series long version.

The optional folding tables provide additional comfort when travelling in the rear of the BMW 7 Series long version. The work surfaces integrated in the backs of the driver and passenger seats come with an exclusive soft nappa leather finish and provide plenty of room for literature or a laptop. When not required, the tables can simply be folded away.
