The latest generation of the Navigation system Professional takes the lead in every respect: it provides more and does so faster and more attractively, gives you an information lead – and helps you to reduce fuel consumption through special routes and individual tips for a highly efficient driving style.
The optional system commands respect with its quick-start function, enhanced route calculation and high-contrast 10.2” colour display. In the city, the high-resolution 3D map navigation offers simple guidance using distinctive buildings. With the optional BMW Assist and Real-Time Traffic Information you can deliberately avoid congestion.
Next objective: reducing fuel consumption. In ECO PRO Mode, the Route-ahead assistant uses the navigation data to calculate when you should take your foot from the accelerator in order to adapt your speed in a timely and efficient manner. ECO PRO Route goes further still: on the basis of your personal driving style, the traffic situation and the journey profile, it calculates an optimum fuel-efficient alternative route. In this way, you save fuel without losing much time.
The Professional navigation system also features a 20 GB hard drive for multimedia data – the best requirements for plenty of customised entertainment.
