Its CO2 emission figures have been reduced by 21 per cent to only 184 g/km, making it one of the most efficient in its class.
The BMW TwinPower Turbo 8-cylinder petrol engine comes up with a rich power bonus of 10 per cent taking it to 330 kW (450 hp). Equipped with two turbochargers, double-VANOS, variable valve control (Valvetronic) and petrol direct injection, the BMW 750i/Li accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in only 4.8 seconds. Equally phenomenal is the reduction of its CO2 emissions by a quarter to 199 g/km. The reference mark in the top performance class continues to be set by the BMW TwinPower Turbo 12-cylinder petrol engine in the BMW 760i/Li, which combines two turbochargers with double-VANOS and petrol direct injection and complies with the EU6 emissions regulations as standard.
