Systematic self-assuredness: the Park Assistant automatically recognises parking spaces and takes over the steering during parking manoeuvres. The driver assists the operation by accelerating or braking, while keeping head and eyes free for the most important task.
The fine art of delegation: to make sure you can devote your undivided attention to the traffic, ultrasonic sensors in the side indicators seek a parking space for you at speeds of up to 35 km/h. Blue arrows indicate if a suitable parking space is vacant either on the left or the right side of the road. Once you have opted for a particular spot, the Assistant takes control of the steering. All you have to do is select the right gear and operate the accelerator and brake. All instructions appear on the Control Display together with the Park Distance Control and the image from the Rear View camera. Using intelligent technology, BMW ConnectedDrive thus links the BMW ActiveHybrid 7 with the outside world – for even more comfort and safety in your daily life.
