BMW Assist turns your BMW into your personal travel manager. Its automatic emergency and breakdown assistance with vehicle location feature increases passenger safety. En route, current traffic conditions are monitored and an alternative route is recommended if congestion threatens. BMW Assist also provides useful information, for example, about hotels and restaurants, and addresses can be transferred directly to the navigation system.

BMW Online.

The BMW Online internet portal provides individually configured information such as news and business updates. From available parking spaces to the address of the nearest chemist or cinema, BMW Online provides invaluable assistance throughout your journey. With its address book, e-mail and information applications, BMW Online enables you to transform your BMW into a mobile office.

Navigation.

BMW knows that getting you to your destination quickly is more than a matter of mere speed. Information from of the optional BMW navigation systems is just as important: directions are shown either on the Control Display or are available as audio instructions. The Professional navigation system provides extra comfort: Voice Control enables hands-free control of all core iDrive functions - a considerable boost for safety and convenience.

Telephone options.

Make a call and keep your hands on the wheel - you can with the optional Professional car telephone. It is the cornerstone of the BMW Assist system and enables you to talk hands free. The alternative mobile phone cradle with a Bluetooth interface also lets you call someone without holding the phone: the snap-in adapter is ideal for Bluetooth-enabled mobiles. As the driver, you can activate the phone via the multifunction steering wheel or via Voice Control.
