Selecting functions with iDrive.

Important things come first: the most commonly used functions such as indicators, wipers or temperature regulation can be activated using switches and buttons placed around the steering wheel. Additional functions such as the navigation, communication and entertainment systems can be accessed via the iDrive Controller located on the central console. Information from the menus is shown on the anti-glare Head-Up Display within the driver's field of vision.
