The BMW X1 is both athletic and elegant in equal measure. Rising lateral lines, a long wheelbase and short overhangs guarantee the dynamic shape that is typical of all BMW models − with its characteristic SAV proportions ensuring an impressive air of authority. The generous amount of body colour increases exclusiveness and the prominent lower silver trim clearly marks out the BMW X1 as a member of the X model line-up. Just as impressive is the light design, with BMW typical double-round headlights (also available with xenon technology) with white LED daytime running light rings and expressive chrome elements combining with the round fog lights to form an unforgettable face. The additional direction indicators are integrated into the side mirrors and are highly visible at all times. At the rear, L-shaped lights with LED technology make sure that the vehicle is instantly recognisable as a typical BMW, even at night.
