The perfect link-up − with apps and BMW ConnectedDrive: now you no longer have to do without the apps on your iPhone while on the road. Simply connect your iPhone to your BMW using the snap-in adapter or the original Apple cable and you can conveniently operate individual apps with the iDrive Controller.

The Aupeo! App is music to your ears: Internet radio draws inspiration from a database with 120 genre stations and adapts to suit your personal musical tastes via the "Love" and "Ban" button.

"BMW Connected" is a free app developed by BMW that brings Facebook, Twitter and your diary to the main vehicle display. And there's more: with the News function, you can keep up with what's going on throughout the world − via predefined RSS feeds or your own preferred sources. Wiki Local provides oyu with reports about your current location, your destination or addresses of your choice. The information appears on the Control Display or is read out loud via the text-to-speech function.

In addition, with the Last Navigation function and the Vehicle Finder you can reach the destinations set in the navigation system of your BMW even when you are outside of the vehicle as well as find your way back to your parked car at any time. Functions available through the BMW Connected app are updated on a regular basis − and you can look forward to more "BMW Apps ready" applications (such as Aupeo!), which can also be used in the vehicle.

BMW Apps is compatible with iPhone from version 3GS and requires the special equipment BMW ConnectedDrive Services and Navigation system Professional.
