BMW X3 : Efficiency

Efficiency.

Convincingly powerful, surprisingly economical – thanks to BMW EfficientDynamics technology. The range of engines for the new BMW X3 features both diesel and petrol variants, all of which are available with four or six cylinders.

These power units not only provide unrivalled dynamics, but are also highly efficient, thanks to BMW TwinPower Turbo technology. One of the many highlights is the latest-generation 4-cylinder diesel engine in the BMW X3 xDrive20d, which produces 140 kW (190 hp) with fuel consumption of just 5.6 to 5.2*
[5.4 to 5.0*] l/100 km and CO2 emissions of 146 to 136* [141 to 131*] g/km. In addition, all engines fulfil the EU6 emission norm that comes into effect in 2014.

Values outside brackets refer to the basic model with the standard transmission; values in brackets to the model with the optionally-available transmission (see special equipment).

All figures in accordance with EU test cycle and dependent upon the selected tyre format.

* Lowest value is achieved with the special equipment SA 2AM 17" light alloy wheels Streamline style 306 (equipment subject to an additional price).
