In addition to the intelligent all-wheel drive system BMW xDrive, Dynamic Performance Control ensures that the BMW X6 retains its directional stability even at high speeds. This is particularly noticeable during cornering – a manoeuvre that the vehicle carries out with impressive ease.
Dynamic Performance Control – a BMW innovation – distributes power to the rear axle smoothly between the right-hand and left-hand wheels. On bends, more engine torque is applied to the outer wheel. This smooth distribution of power between the right-hand and left-hand rear wheels provides maximum dynamics and optimum tracking stability – regardless of whether the driver accelerates or not. In combination with the all-wheel drive system BMW xDrive, Dynamic Performance Control enables bends to be taken more precisely, allows greater lateral acceleration and optimises traction when accelerating out of bends on any surface.
