1. Data protection and legal information about the "BMW catalogs" app

1.1. General information
The BMW catalogs app does not collect or process any personal data. When you use the app, links may take you to external websites, where the corresponding data privacy terms for these external websites apply. The BMW catalogs app has no access to data that is collected or processed there. If you have questions or would like more information, you can contact us at any time using the e-mail address  customer.service@bmw.com

1.2. Use analysis
This function enables BMW to collect and analyze data in anonymized form through use of the app; this means the data cannot be associated with any particular person. For analysis, this anonymous data is transmitted to Adobe Systems Incorporated and, where applicable, to further companies. The data is used for optimizing future versions of the app. You can cancel this at any time in the device settings of your app.

1.3. Local storage
Local storage refers to a process for taking data from use of the application and saving it on your device for future sessions. The data is only stored locally on your device; BMW AG has no access to this data. Local storage enables optimum tailoring of the user interface to suit your needs for repeated use—for example, by recording your language selection. You can disable the use of local storage at any time by configuring your device settings as well as delete data that has been stored.

2.1. Liability
BMW shall assume no liability for data and information that is provided and transmitted by the app being correct or up-to-date. Liability shall remain unaffected in the event of malicious concealment of a defect, by the assumption of a warranty or a procurement risk and in accordance with product liability law. Liability limitations shall not apply in the event of intent, gross negligence or injury to life, limb or health.

Insofar as this application provides links to websites operated by third parties, BMW AG shall assume no responsibility for their contents.

2.2. Copyrights, property rights and trademarks
Copyright BMW AG, Munich (Germany). All rights reserved. Text, images, graphics, animations and videos as well as their arrangement in the app are protected by copyright and other protective laws. Trademarks are protected by trademark law. This applies particularly to brands, type designations, logos and emblems. They must not be copied, distributed, altered or made accessible to third parties for commercial purposes. The intellectual property in the app, such as patents, brands and copyrights, is protected. No license is hereby granted to use the intellectual property.

2.3. Market specifics
The application displays models, equipment ranges and configuration options (standard equipment and optional equipment packages) of vehicles that BMW AG delivers for the German market. In other countries, there may be deviations from the equipment ranges and configuration options described in this application in relation to standard equipment and optional equipment packages of the individual models. For information about the different country versions that are offered, please contact your local BMW partner. Designs and equipment are subject to change.

2.4. Availability of services
This app dynamically reloads contents. Services are provided through your mobile end device and, where appropriate, through the SIM card activated within it. Intensive use may sometimes made of broadband data services. Please note that, depending on your wireless communications provider and contract, costs may be incurred for using the services, particularly during use abroad (roaming). We recommend using a WiFi network, because data can be loaded faster and at a lower cost.
