The BMW 7 Protection has armour that is extremely hard to penetrate. Despite its high level of protection, it is scarcely distinguishable from the normal BMW 7 Series. In its spacious interior, you forget entirely that you are sitting in an armoured vehicle.

Protection concept.
The BMW 7 Protection is designed for people with special security needs, while also setting new standards in terms of elegance. Its newly developed protection cell offers a generous amount of space, and its design is virtually identical to the standard BMW 7 Series Sedan.
Protection Core.
Tested according to VPAM BRV2009-3 and ERV 2010-3 by the Beschussamt München (Munich Ballistics Agency), the BMW 7 Protection offers maximum protection against ballistic attacks and explosions. Increased protection with level VPAM 10 is optionally available for some parts of the vehicle.

The basis for the unique protection concept of the BMW 7 Protection is its core structure – what we call the Protection Core. The armoured passenger cell is designed to offer the same spacious comfort as a standard BMW 7 Series Sedan.

BMW 20” light alloy wheels with run-flat properties.
Specially developed for the BMW 7 Protection, PAX tyres have an impressively short braking distance, plus improved acceleration and transverse dynamics. Their run-flat technology lets you continue driving even if they suddenly lose pressure.
Emergency exit function on all doors.
Ideally equipped for emergencies: All doors can be fitted with an emergency exit function, in case you unexpectedly have to exit the vehicle.
