WHAT ADAPTIVE M SUSPENSION CAN DO.
It's up to you. Every day, for every road, you decide how you want to drive. With sporty or comfortable suspension. Simply use the Driving Experience Control in the cockpit to adapt the basic suspension settings to your driving style. So now you have a more enjoyable driving experience, and better control on uneven roads.

HOW ADAPTIVE M SUSPENSION WORKS.
WITH ELECTRONICALLY CONTROLLED SHOCK ABSORBERS.
Electromagnetically controlled valves infinitely adjust the damping forces. When the valves are open, more oil flows from one damper to the other. The damping effect is reduced. This way, the suspension compensates better for uneven surfaces and driving comfort is enhanced. When the valves are closed, the suspension becomes firmer and drivability is more direct. For sportier moments on open roads. The system controls all shock absorbers individually and independently from one another. Sensors measure the movement of the body, the road condition and your driving style. In just milliseconds, the optimum damping forces are calculated and the shock absorbers adapted.
